Classic Car Events

We are proud to host several Classic Car events throughout the year, all events welcome new attendees, whether taking part or just popping along to admire them.

The events for 2012 are as follows:

 Easter Monday 9th April

An informal afternoon gathering for all classic cars from 2.30pm.  We normally have 20 - 30 cars, There is no entry fee, just pitch up and enjoy the afternoon .  The pub is open for refreshments from 12pm.

Spring Bank Holiday, Monday 4th June - The 13th Misson classic car run. 

A great day!  For those taking part, there is a breakfast served at the pub from 8am.  The cars set off from 9am and normally cover a round trip of approximately 100miles, with 2 checkpoints, taking in visits to places of interest, returning to the Angel Inn for min-afternoon, where refreshments are available.  There is an entry fee of £30 per car.  If you just want to pop along to see the cars, it’s a spectacular sight in the morning to see them all ready for the off.

Mid-summer car run and Misson Duck-race.  The annual village fete, peruse the stalls, admire the classic car display, cheer your duck in the race, watch the entertainment, then pop to the Angel for food and drink.  A great day with a really lovely community feel 

August Summer Bank Holiday, Monday 27th August

Another informal classic car gathering from 2.30pm.  Again there is no fee for this event, bring the family,  the pub will be open for refreshments from 12pm.  Everyone welcome, including dogs on leads

Sunday October 9th

Before putting the cars away for the winter, a final classic afternoon, where all are welcome to display and view the cars.  There is no entry fee for this closing event.  Refreshments will again be available from 12pm
